Route: Arusha – Serengeti – Seronera – Ngorongoro Highlands – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

1. Tag 1Arrival in Arusha

   Your driver-guide meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and takes you to your hotel in Arusha. The rest of the day is yours to rest and adjust to the time zone, with a short safari briefing in the evening.

2. Tag 2Into the Serengeti

   Up through the green Ngorongoro Highlands with a stop at the crater rim viewpoint, past Olduvai Gorge and down onto the endless plains of the Serengeti. Afternoon game drive on the way to camp.

3. Tag 3Full day in the Serengeti

   Morning and afternoon game drives across the plains of the Seronera Valley, famous for its lions, leopards and cheetahs — and, depending on the season, the herds of the Great Migration. A visit to Olduvai Gorge and its small museum can be added.

4. Tag 4Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Highlands

   An early start to the highlands for landscapes and a visit to a local community.

5. Tag 5Ngorongoro Crater

   An early descent of about 600 m to the crater floor — a sealed world of grassland, swamp and soda lake that holds one of the densest gatherings of wildlife in Africa, including the rare black rhino. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then the drive back to Arusha.
