Jour 1Tarangire National Park
About three hours from Moshi you enter Tarangire, the park of giants: huge herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees along the Tarangire River, the only water for miles in the dry season. Game drives and a picnic lunch in the park.

Jour 2Ngorongoro Crater
An early descent of about 600 m to the crater floor — a sealed world of grassland, swamp and soda lake that holds one of the densest gatherings of wildlife in Africa, including the rare black rhino. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then the drive back to Moshi.

Jour 3Materuni Waterfall
From Moshi to the Chagga village of Materuni on the slopes of Kilimanjaro: a rainforest walk to the waterfall, a local lunch and a coffee tour from bean to cup.
