Discover Udzungwa Mountains National Park
The Udzungwa Mountains are part of the Eastern Arc, an ancient chain of mountains whose forests have stayed wet for millions of years. That long isolation created many unique plants and animals.
The national park was created in 1992. Two of its monkeys, the Iringa red colobus and the Sanje mangabey, live only here.
